Neuroscience for parents

Raising children can be hard. Unfortunately having a baby does not come with a manual. Billions of humans have been born over the years and for most individuals there will be a time when they have that first experience of parenthood. A child’s start in life is all dependent on the parent. This course will teach you everything you need to know about good parenting. Though the objective is on raising children, this course will be focused on you. Journey and learn how to deal with your children from the newborn baby stage to the young adult. You will be given all the tools you need to understand why your child is reacting the way they are and more importantly how to deal with that reaction. This course will address many of the theories of parenting and explore the “dos” and “don’ts” as well as all the myths that come with raising a child.  You’ll learn when to stay firm and when to be lenient, how to stay calm when you’re about to lose it, and much more. Though this course is based off the theory of the NBA method (Neurocognitive and Behavioral Approach), this course is so much more than just theory and boring lectures. You’ll find practical examples that you can apply to your everyday parenting experience. Giving your child the best start to life is the greatest gift a parent can give. Though all parents want the best for their children we sometimes don’t realize that what we are doing is detrimental. With this course you will learn the best way to raise your child so that you and your child have the optimal experience.
